Job Description:

The Vice President of Human Resources will serve as an adviser for managers regarding HR policies and processes, in order to optimize employee engagement and productivity.

The successful candidate will also be responsible to:

• Develop and drive the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives which align the business priorities and goals across multiple locations.
• Plan and facilitate work sessions to develop these strategies, in order to support the organizations focus, efficiency and business results.
• Work with the leadership team in evaluating performance of individual team members and providing guidance regarding development.
• Responsible for assessing organization performance, identify talent gaps, and propose solutions that support the business while leading the implementation of ongoing talent, succession, and development plans.
• Other responsibilities will include the: development of policies and programs, training, employee relations, comp, benefits, safety and health.
• Must be capable to serve as a strategic planner with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and a strong operational focus.
• Must be able to interpret complex HR related documents and be able to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
• Degree Requirements: Masters Degree or equivalent, or ten to fifteen years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
